Unidentified assailants have hacked Alice Christine Muduwa, a teacher of Bunabuso Primary school in Bulambuli district to death. The thugs waylaid the teacher at around 7pm on her way home from school in Bushunu Village in Bumasobo Sub County in Bulambili district.
Boniface Wosaha, the LC I Chairman Bushunu Village, says the attackers used machetes on the head several times. According to Wosaha, by the time residents rushed to rescue Muduwa she had breathed her last.
Charles Nangai, the Bumasobo Sub county LC 3 chairman, has urged residents to work with police and provide information that will lead to the arrest of the suspects. He warned people who engage in early drinking, saying it is such people who don’t work who engage in criminal activities.
Emma Okalebo, the Officer In Charge of Bumasobo Police Station, says they have commenced investigations into the murder, adding that no suspect has been arrested in connection to the incident.
